Guided Tours: The Misty Isle of Skye with Margaret Hubbard
No visit to Scotland is complete without a guided tour around the majestic, and misty Isle of Skye.
Best loved for its scenery and jaw dropping landscapes, its history is no less dramatic.
The island has been the backdrop for settlers dating back to the prehistoric era, the remnants of life still evident today in the island’s geology and landscape.
Skye has been home to Neolithic farmers, Vikings and Scottish clans, who have spent centuries claiming land, earning a living and fighting for survival – all beneath the backdrop of the rugged Cuillin mountains.
Skye Guided Tour highlights
Sightseeing round Skye is a wonderful experience and a popular activity for holiday makers, tourists and day trippers alike. Join me on the Misty Isle of Skye Tour, and together we’ll discover some of the island’s most popular tourist spots, and I’ll share some of my favourite Skye secrets.
We can enjoy a tour with fixed locations and destinations, from Portree to Dunvegan Castle, the Cuillins to Kilt Rock; or we can enjoy a more relaxed tour of the Isle of Skye – but one thing is for sure, if there’s a good story to be found, we’ll visit it!
If you have somewhere you’d like to include, please let me know when you call.
